Some slightly yellowed pages aside, this 1936 edition of the cooking classic is in mint condition.

Ain't she a beaut?
I can’t believe someone let this go! Definitely the crown jewel of all the cookbooks I’ve bought on eBay.
Makes me want to finger-wave my hair, don a frilly apron, mix a martini, and whip up something with aspic.

Oh MY! I’m so fiercely jealous of you right now. It looks beautiful, what are you going to make first???

You know, I haven’t even looked at the recipes! I collect cookbooks, and love to cook, but don’t do it as much as I should.
Since it’s BHG, most of the recipes are pretty basic, but there are some pages of pasted-in recipes from magazines, newspapers, etc..
I also have a full recipe box from the 50s that was a lot of fun to go through.
